To build a smart mirror using the open source MagicMirror² platform
I completed this mirror project the summer after high school. I wanted to create something functional and cool for my new room once I started university. While browsing on YouTube, I came across some smart mirror projects and followed their guides and tutorials for the software. Luckily, since we were moving, I found an old VGA monitor that needed repurposing. I ordered a Raspberry Pi and a two-way mirror from Amazon, and I received some help in making the wooden frame.
As a novice with no experience, it was a very rewarding and fun project to play around with the modules and hardware. Mind the very young version of me
